Food Pantry

The Wheatland Township Board of Trustees approved an intergovernmental agreement with DuPage Township to permit Wheatland Township residents to utilize the DuPage Township food pantry.

Most of the food in the pantry comes from the support of the Townships, the Northern Illinois Food Bank, and cooperating supermarkets. Individuals also make donations, and food drives are sponsored by schools, churches, civic groups, and businesses. The Food Pantry is available to families experiencing food insecurity. Residents may come to the pantry twice a month and receive additional items for planning meals for their families.

Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM
