Jim Kopchok has served as Wheatland Township Collector since Jan 2026 and serves as Manager of the Wheatland Township Cemetery. He and his wife have lived in Naperville for 45 years where both daughters graduated from Naperville schools. His youngest daughter and her family still live in Naperville and Wheatland Township. Jim is retired as Chief Information Officer for a nationwide technical training company and has delivered training to professionals and companies all over the United States. He has been active in the community as Treasurer of the North Wheatland Township Homeowners Association, Citizens Advisory Committee member for the Will County Forest Preserve, mentor for Families Helping Families, and AARP volunteer delivery training on Driver Safety and new car technology. He loves riding his Goldwing motorcycle.
